Talks, concerts, ballets, plays and shows: all this and much more make up the Versiliana Festival, one of the most prestigious and chic of Versilia.
The Festival, which runs every year in July and August, takes place among the pine trees of Versiliana. Alongside the daily events, there is an art exhibition at the Park Villa, and another area holds games and activities for children.
At the Caffè della Versiliana, in the midst of the pine woods beloved of the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio, cultural evenings include author talks, and discussions with politicians, scientists, academics and personalities from the arts. Previous years have seen visits from well-known names like Indro Montanelli, Margherita Hack, Rita Levi Montalcini, Enzo Biagi and Giovanni Allevi.
Meanwhile the main stage has played host to dancers such Roberto Bolle, Carla Fracci and the performance group Momix.
